The Story of Dimple `n’ Pimple
Dimple,
Is already aged and he is acting like that too. He thinks he saw and knows it all. Everything Pimple is going through Dimple already went. He has developed a relative steady but slightly narcissistic and crunchy character, with a little hint of pessimism too. He is still trying to accept with what he has become. That is the main reason why he just wants to be left alone. But with Pimple as his closest neighbour that is not on the menu for him.
Pimple,
Is the young fresh and optimistic type, also the more sensitive one. In general, he tries to understand why everybody dislikes his presence. He notices the negativity around his persona which makes him insecure. His character is weak and undeveloped, that is why he has an identity problem. Because of his innocent and optimistic way of thinking he keeps on believing that, if he is able to change, everything will be better. That illusionary state of mind irritates Dimple at its fullest.
Pimple’s mission is to become Dimple’s friend and wants to be accepted as such. That is why Pimple tries to start a conversation on any topic he can think of, or what he heard in the grapevine. Dimple does everything to make Pimple understand that he doesn’t want to have a close relationship whatsoever with Pimple. He can even go as far as to slightly hurt him in his responses to Pimple’s mindless questions and his outspoken thoughts. Sometimes
Pimple thinks he found the way to Dimple’s heart and goes all in, the only thing he gets out of it is Dimple’s cold shoulder. It’s remarkable how Pimple jumps back up and starts all over again as if nothing has happened, what upsets Dimple even more. With the only result that Dimple is digging even further into his trench.
The news these days is so easy to get through the traditional media, social media and all the other platforms on the internet, the topics Pimple brings up are as wide as they can be. Pimple is young, absorbs information like a sponge and is unbiased. Because Dimple wants to be left alone, Pimple is always starting the conversation. It will be seldom that it is the other way around. The complete innocence of Pimple’s questioning makes him adorable, but Dimple thinks otherwise. Besides this innocence, he is still and will always be a Pimple, who nobody wants or likes.
